Required Materials
- Craft cotton
- LED tea light
- Glass with lid with screw cap, approx. 1.7 litres
-
Nylon thread
-
Coloured pencils, e.g. Faber-Castell Colour Grip
-
Printout of the colouring template
Step 1
First, choose whether you'd like the spider or the bat in your jar. Then, colour the template using your choice of Faber-Castell pencils, crayons or markers. Lastly, carefully cut out your colourful spider or bat.
Step 2
Place the LED tea light in the glass and decorate it with the loosened cotton wool. Use a needle to attach the nylon thread to your spider or bat. For the bat, you should attach the thread to both wings, and for the spider, you can attach it to the spider's body. Measure the length of the thread in advance so your cut-out hangs freely. Stick the other end of the nylon thread into the lid with some tape.
Now, your spooky Halloween glass is ready!
