Being creative is very important for children's social and cognitive development. To inspire their imagination and to encourage them to write, Faber-Castell supports the ''Schoolyard Stories" project by Sophia Stefanos and Deborah Kourakis.
With their teacher’s guidance, children of all levels of development can contribute a story and/or drawing. Schoolyard Stories then turns these masterpieces into a paperback book that includes every student’s work. Students will be encouraged to explore their own creativity as they will sense the enthusiasm of the whole school working towards this common goal and they will delight in sharing their published stories with family and friends.
