Conjuring up a fascinating rainbow of colours: GRIP Colour Magic

Never seen before: creative people of all ages can now use the new GRIP Colour Magic crayons to trace two colour shades at once. Two easy steps to the ultimate in drawing fun: first draw your picture using the GRIP Colour Magic crayons. Then use the brush included to blend the brilliant colour pigments with water and – like magic – an additional colour shade will appear! The colour of the cap at the end of the pencil will tell you the shade. In total, there are 8 magical colour combinations, inviting you to discover the fascinating world of the magic pencil leads.

At the same time, the GRIP Colour Magic crayons also fulfill the highest functional quality requirements: their ergonomic triangular form and the patented soft-grip zone support the child's hand and thus result in confident, fatigue-free drawing from the very beginning. In addition, the magic colour pens are made from non-impregnated, untreated wood coated in environmentally compatible water-based varnish, which is more hygienic than unvarnished or partially varnished wooden pencils. This is a great advantage for small children, who tend to suck on pencils, or for nursery and primary schools, where pencils pass through many hands.

Like the tried and trusted Colour GRIP pencils, the GRIP Colour Magic range is a major component of the “Playing & Learning” range, which develops educationally meaningful and ergonomically adapted writing aids and drawing utensils for every phase of childhood, ensuring that children have fun while teaching them, through play, how to work with their hands.

Systematically learning how to write

Learning to write: Only Faber-Castell offers the right writing instrument for every stage of this process: Indispensable and recommended by many educators are the Jumbo GRIP pencil and the beginner’s fountain pen. Jumbo GRIP pencils train writing on the line and can withstand the high pressure of unpracticed elementary school students. The patented soft-GRIP zone of dots made from water-based paint prevents fingers from slipping, and the ergonomic triangular shaft is especially well-suited for being held by small hands. The beginner’s fountain pen has an ergonomically-shaped cap designed to prevent rolling off, ink-level windows for easy ink checking and a robust nib.

Both instruments are now available in the new “Learn-To-Write-Fun Set”, together with templates for practicing and playful ideas to support the learning process. The super-soft modeling clay for finger relaxation exercises completes the set – that makes learning to write fun!

Swinging Circus

The new Activity Set “Swinging Circus” is based on the propelling pencil with the nearly unbreakable lead and an exercise book full of variety. It is an ideal gift idea for preschool children. The propelling pencil with non-slip soft grip zone provides top writing comfort, and the extra thick lead (1.4 mm) is child’s play to adjust with the precision twist mechanism. Thanks to the three-point grip zone, the propelling pencil is suitable for both left and right-handers. Plus, it doesn’t need to be sharpened! Thus, fine motor skills which form the basis for an individual handwriting are systematically developed.

Trendy Tattoo Markers

Cool tattoos are very popular among young people. Children and young people who would like to try out the popular body adornments can now decorate themselves with the new ink markers. The tattoo markers by Faber-Castell are available in trendy henna and black and have a flexible point that keeps its shape even after frequent use. Fine ornaments and characters or even large motifs can be drawn directly on the skin. The highly pigmented water-based cosmetic ink dries quickly, has been dermatologically tested and washes out of most textiles. The colored artworks adhere for up to 60 hours and if the artist doesn't like the result, it can be easily washed off with soap and water.
