Da Vinci Code

Graf von Faber-Castell contributes to 'Da Vinci Code'

Dan Brown's bestseller is now in Australian Cinemas and Grenadilla propelling pencil cracks the code.

Dan Brown's world-famous novel about mysterious organizations, hidden symbols in famous master-pieces and the daring search for a murderer is on international bestseller lists and has sold more than 40 million copies. It's no wonder, then, that Hollywood transformed the book into a blockbuster movie, which not only avowed Dan Brown fans have been eagerly awaiting.

However, what cinemagoers might miss in the midst of bloody flagellations and action-packed chase scenes is the small role taken  by a 'classic' performer: A propelling pencil from the Graf von Faber-Castell 'Classic' collection of writing implements  is the leading actor's perfect companion on the trail of the great secret.

With its elegant form and balanced weight, the Graf von Faber-Castell propelling pencil not only sits well in the hand, but with its timeless design, it doesn't only suit a Harvard professor. A sophisticated, perfected mechanical system and robust details such as the solid spring clip ensure that the pencil can survive even the most extreme movie situations. With a thickness of  0.7 mm, the lead is extremely break-resistant - and the replaceable eraser underneath the cap can be used for making corrections to the list of suspects. It's a pity that the role lead has been already taken.
