It is easy to get metallic effects by using Metallic Markers, Pencils and Pastels. But to make the effect even more outstanding; you can use dark papers and follow the tips shown below. To make your drawing sparkle even more you can mix medias, such as glitter glue and coloured pencils together.

Leave ziggy-zaggy blank patches in between the colour to get a metallic effect, like a reflection of light. Before starting your drawing, have a look at a real metal object to study what the reflections look like.

When using Faber-Castell Metallic Markers, remember that the colours overlay easily, so you can create unlimited patters. Overlay, the same colour for extra brilliance.
