Material Required

  1. Faber-Castell Black Lead pencil
  2. Faber-Castell Metallic Pencils
  3. Faber-Castell Eraser
  4. Piece of Card Board
  5. Scissors
  6. Compass
  7. Glue
  8. Ruler
  9. Black sheet of paper
  10. Motor and Watch hand - you can get it from a clock that you don't use anymore
  11. Small Battery

Step 1: Draw on the black sheet of paper, using the compass, an 18cm-circle. Then divide the circle in four equal parts by marking with the rule two perpendiculars strokes that should pass in the center of the circle.  At the points where the strokes cross the circle, mark the numbers, 3, 6, 9 and 12, in the same order that you see in your watch.

Step 2: Use the Faber-Castell eraser to rub the two strokes out. Mark the other hours on your watch with the Metallic Pencils. You can use drawings instead of numbers to represent the hours.

Step 3: Glue the watch drawing on the cardboard, cut out the circle and poke a hole in its center.

Step 4: Fit the clock motor behind the cardboard and the watch hand in front of it. Put the battery in the motor.
