Count Andreas Wilhelm Eberhard von Faber-Castell settled in Australia in 1971. He lives in Sydney with his wife Countess Virginia and their 3 children and prefers to be called Andy.
After building up a successful printing business in Sydney, he took over management of Faber-Castell's Australian operation in 1992.
He immediately encouraged investment from the family parent company to successfully set up Australia's only manufacturing facility for children's Connector Colouring pens, together with Highlight, Whiteboard and Permanent 'Office' markers.
In recent years he has become responsible for the development of the Faber-Castell Group within the Asia Pacific, and oversees the company's production units in Indonesia, Malaysia, India and China together with sales subsidiaries and agents throughout the region.
